A delivery truck that cannot leave the lot until the road is safe is a plan that has to wait. The driver can see the load. The driver still does not roll until the start is written down and the end is written down. An engagement on this site is the same kind of pause. It has a start in writing and an end in writing. The month can sit still until both of those lines exist.

Everything published here is general information for store owners. It is not advice about your own numbers, and reading it does not make you a client. Tax rules change and land differently on different facts, so confirm anything that matters for your return before you act on it.

A free call is a conversation

The time offered on this site creates no engagement, no ongoing duty, and no obligation on either side. We will say plainly what we see and what an engagement would involve, including when the honest answer is that you do not need one yet. Work begins only when both of us sign a written engagement letter naming the scope and the fee.

Scope and fees

Every engagement is defined in writing before it starts. Fees are quoted for that scope, and anything outside it is quoted separately before it is done. Either of us may end an engagement in writing. You remain responsible for fees earned to that date, and your records are returned to you.

The work is only as good as what it is built on. You are responsible for giving us complete and accurate records, for the accuracy of what is in your own systems, and for the decisions you make. We will tell you when the return, the cards, and the count do not agree, and we will not build on a month that has not closed.

The site itself

The words, layouts, and images on this site belong to the practice that publishes it. You may read, print, and quote them with attribution. You may not republish the site or use it to train a product without written permission. The site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and available, and we do not promise it will never be wrong or never be down. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
